Belagavi’s technology ecosystem received a fresh spotlight at the fifth annual Belagavi Technology Companies Association (BeTCA) Tech Meet, held at the Belgaum Foundry Cluster on September 19.
The event, themed “Engineering the Future – AI. DeepTech. Security,” brought together technology companies, entrepreneurs, engineers, startups and industry professionals. A locally built Shaurya MAK IV drone, which is being tested by Indian defence forces, was one of the major attractions. The summit also featured eight product launches and an exhibition covering AI, cybersecurity, aerospace, defence, healthcare, embedded systems and engineering technologies.
BeTCA also signed an MoU with the Goa Technology Companies Association to encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange. The event highlighted the growing presence of technology and product-development companies in Belagavi and the wider region.
