Hindalco’s Project Siksha has reached approximately 6,800 students in Belagavi, according to a report published on September 29. The initiative is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility programme and focuses on improving educational access and learning outcomes for students in the region.
The programme provides supplementary academic support, learning resources and school-infrastructure improvements, with the aim of strengthening educational opportunities for students in underserved communities.
The latest milestone is relevant to Belagavi because it represents a large-scale education-focused CSR intervention reaching thousands of students in the region. The report does not indicate that the 6,800 figure represents a new one-day enrolment; it describes the number of students reached by the Project Siksha initiative.
