Terms of Service

Last updated: 01 October 2026

By using RooCity ("the platform", "we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

Using RooCity

RooCity is a hyperlocal directory and community platform for Belgaum. You must provide accurate information when creating an account or posting content, and you're responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you post (listings, reviews, marketplace items, forum posts, photos), but you grant RooCity a license to display it on the platform. You're responsible for ensuring your content is accurate, lawful, and doesn't infringe on others' rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or our community guidelines, and to suspend or ban accounts for repeated violations.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use RooCity to post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; post spam or unauthorized advertising; impersonate another person or business; or violate any applicable law.

Transactions Between Users

RooCity is a platform that connects buyers, sellers, service providers, and community members — we are not a party to transactions or agreements between users (including Marketplace sales, service bookings, or job applications). Exercise reasonable caution: meet in public places, verify item condition, and never share OTPs or move payment off-platform based on pressure from another user.

No Warranty

RooCity is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the accuracy of listings, reviews, or other user-generated content, and we're not responsible for the conduct of any user, business, or third party.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, RooCity is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of RooCity after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
